Therapy
Whatever you're carrying — anxiety, grief, burnout, a difficult relationship, a child who's struggling, a feeling you can't quite name — there's space for it here. Therapy at Whole Thread is integrative, creative and genuinely low demand. You don't need the right words. You just need to show up.

"Therapy here isn't about fixing you. It's about understanding yourself so deeply that the world starts to feel a little more navigable."
My approach is rooted in a simple belief: that every person deserves a space built around who they actually are. That means no scripts, no pressure to perform, and no one-size-fits-all model. Whether you come with a specific context — neurodivergence, school trauma, EHE, demand avoidance — or simply with something heavy that needs somewhere to go, you'll be met with the same warmth, the same flexibility, and the same genuine curiosity about what will actually help you.
My Approach
Integrative means I draw from multiple modalities rather than being fixed to one model. Creative means talking isn't the only way in. Low demand means we follow your lead — always.
I draw from person-centred, creative, somatic and other approaches — so the therapy fits you, not the other way around. No single model works for every person, and I don't pretend otherwise.
Talking isn't always the most natural way in — and it doesn't need to be. We might use mark making, music, sounds, movement, metaphor or storytelling. Whatever opens things up most gently for you.
No agenda you must follow, no homework required, no pressure to perform being okay when you're not. Sessions are flexible and follow your pace. Some sessions feel like breakthroughs. Some feel like rest. Both are valid.
I'm interested in all of you — your nervous system, your history, your creativity, your relationships, your strengths. Nothing is irrelevant. Nothing is too much. You don't have to leave parts of yourself at the door.
Who I Work With
Ways We Can Work Together
Every offer is designed to feel accessible, flexible and genuinely affirming. If you're not sure what's right for you, a free intro call is always the best place to start — no commitment, no pressure.
One-to-one sessions for children, young people and adults. We work at your pace, using whatever blend of creative, somatic and talk-based approaches feels right for you. No two sessions look the same — and that's intentional.
A single, focused session built entirely around what you want to work through — no ongoing commitment required. Solution-focused and led by you. A dedicated space to explore something specific, gain clarity, or simply have somewhere to put it down for a while.
For any adult carrying something they haven't quite found the right space for yet. Whether that's anxiety, grief, burnout, relationship patterns, identity, life transitions, or simply a feeling that something needs to change — you don't have to arrive with all the answers.
For parents navigating a child who is struggling — whether that's school anxiety, demand avoidance, home education, a recent diagnosis, or simply trying to understand your child better. You deserve support too, not just your child.
Therapy for children and teenagers that doesn't rely on words being the only way in. We might draw, play, use movement or storytelling — whatever creates a genuine sense of safety. Particularly valuable for children who find verbal communication hard.
Not sure where to start? A free 20-minute introductory call is always the best first step. No commitment, no pressure — just a conversation to see how it feels. If we're not the right fit, I'll happily point you somewhere that might be.
Group workshops for families are in development. Leave your name and email below and you'll be the first to hear when dates are confirmed.
No two sessions look the same — and that's genuinely by design, not a disclaimer. Some sessions are full of words. Some barely use them. Some feel like breakthroughs. Some feel like rest. All of them are therapy.
In a first session, we'll spend time getting to know each other. There's no assessment to pass, no form to fill in before you arrive that determines what we do. We start from wherever you actually are — not from where a model assumes you should be.
Over time, sessions find their own rhythm. You might notice things shifting in small ways first — a different feeling in your body when something hard happens, a moment of clarity you wouldn't have had before. That's the work. It rarely announces itself dramatically.
